Cam Toys

As part of our Toy topic, year 5 pupils have designed and built their own toys with working cam mechanisms. The handle of the toys is connected to an axle. The axle moves the cam, which in turn moves the follower.  The toy is attached to follower, so it moves when the handle is turned!  Here are some of the toys we made.
