Enterprise Fair and London Visit

In Year Six we have been busy raising money in order to go to London. As well as washing cars, we ran our very own Enterprise Fair and, with the help of our school community, managed to raise the money we needed to go. At the fair alone, we managed to raise £763.93! Thank you to everyone who has supported us.

The boys had fun with the bric-a-brac before the Fair began.	Experimenting with face paints to get the designs just right.

Our visit to London was a success. 'Oliver the Musical' at Theatre Royal Drury Lane was well worth the effort; the production was fantastic and we got some great ideas to use in our own production in a few weeks' time.

We walked across Waterloo Bridge and saw the sights. As it was Wednesday, we wondered if Gordon Brown was answering questions in Parliament.	Lovely weather for dinner at Covent Garden Market. (Some of us were surprised that there was no grass!)
The sword-swallower made us all gasp with incredulity. He later juggled whilst walking on a tightrope. We were impressed.	Up in the balcony, we sat waiting for the show to begin. Is Rowan Atkinson on stage yet?
