| Name: Marion Borland | ||
| Position: Head Teacher | ||
| A few words: I firmly believe that children thrive in a happy, safe, supportive and stimulating environment where they feel motivated to learn. Our excellent teaching allows children to achieve success and the resulting increase in self esteem motivates them to achieve even more. At Mangotsfield Church of England School we believe that academic success is important but know that this must be complemented with the appropriate skills, attitudes and behaviours that will allow our children to achieve future economic well being and to be able to make a positive contribution to the society that they live in now and will live in in the future. | ||

However, things change and I rejoined in January 2009 for a second bite of the cherry in the Premises and Finance Committee. Having extensive Architectural and Construction Management experience gained during the past 20 years, this provides me with the opportunity to add specialist direction to the School and Governors, allowing more informed discussions and decisions relating to the physical building, site and Health & Safety issues. | ||
