Slimbridge Visit Y6 2008

Year Six visited Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre as part of their Eco-Warriors topic. As part of the Science programme of study, we observed first-hand how different birds are adapted to their habitats.

There were a few black swans at the Centre. It was the first time that many of us had seen one but we soon made friends. Well, the food helped.

Julie, one of the Centre's wardens, used masks and rope to show how all of the plants and animals are interdependent.
